In a tension set ring the Diamond is exposed to
more light to bring out the maximum brilliance that may be
compromised by claw or bezel setting
Tension set rings are comfortable to wear and have no sharp points to scratch or catch on clothing
Because the stone is held under great pressure the Diamond is actually safer than in the relatively light taditional settings. It will need no tightening or other maintenance.
